Recently I lost a pair of my Mom's work gloves. I went to help out a friend, helped the friend, had the gloves in the car on the way back, and when I came back into the house, I could have sworn I brought them with me, but evidently I set them down somewhere.
Cut to 15 minutes later when I can't find them. They weren't where I thought I put them, or in the truck or on the ground anywhere in the garage, or between there and the house, but I KNOW I brought them home from helping out. We still haven't found them, and we've cleaned the house and my room since.
It's one of the great mysteries of my life, and to date one of the only things that still kind of bothers me from time to time? Who took them? Did someone take them? Am I about to be implicated in something? Am I just slowly losing my memory? Who knows.

You look in the closet. The skeleton has escaped.

Other than my own, as-of-yet unpublished epic fantasy world, I would love to go to Middle Earth or The City Between world (by W.R. Gingell). Harry Potter would also be super fun. Or Remalna (The Kingdom from the Crown Duel by Sherwood Smith.)
...Upon further contemplation, for a person who doesn't really camp... I've picked a Lot of camping-style worlds, haha.

I am not afraid to take stuff out of my books, and to keep trying until it works. I have two files for every story. One is the manuscript itself, like: "Wednesday's Book" or "Oak and Ivy" and then the other is my outtakes folder. Some of my funniest lines, most tragic scenes, and wittiest dialogue is in my outtakes folder. If it doesn't work, take it out and move on.
In the parlance of writers: "Kill your darlings." To add on to that: I can guarantee you can come up with something just as good, and at least having an outtakes folder means you can enjoy it in all of its original glory later.

I am literally never bored. Also, I still get to play with my imaginary friends and share their stories.

For Wednesday's Book, I got the idea from a short story prompt from W.R. Gingell, and then it snowballed from there into a retelling of Swan Lake.
For my October release, Oak and Ivy, I've wanted to retell Tam Lin for AGES. It was one of the first story ideas that I had, it just took a while for the proper characters, setting, and POVs to come clear.

Find the story YOU want to tell, and keep it fun for you.

I want to write because of the story that I'm telling. If the story isn't interesting to me, or if I'm not having fun, that's a big tell that my audience won't have fun either. So, I keep it fun for me, and that keeps it going.

I am currently working on a Sci-Fi Novella series. I'm not sure when it's going to be published yet, but it is definitely a lot of fun to work on. It's a sci-fi/western/comedy/adventure.

The remaining City Between books by WR Gingell.
I am also planning on rereading a lot of the books in my personal collection, in between editing my works in progress.
