Jeris Jean Sam and Wyatt are still sorting out their complicated relationship. 😊 But…I do think they deserve their own story. So stay tuned!
Jeris Jean Yes, there is something wrong with the page numbers here. The book is actually 210 pages. :)
Jeris Jean I just write. Any words on a page. Any words at all. It may be a few minutes, or it may be several hours, but I write every day. It's like a muscle, the habit of writing. Needs to be worked, even when you don't feel like going to the gym.
Jeris Jean The best thing about being a writer is exactly what they say about being a reader - a writer lives a thousand lives. You get to make choices that you didn't make in your own life. You get to know people you wish you would have met. You can fix a relationship or explore a different piece of the world. You get as many do-overs and new beginnings as you want.
Jeris Jean My advice is to accept that there is no "right" way to be a writer. You just write. Everyone's process is different, and you need to find what works for you. Then, you need to put words on the page. Then repeat.
Jeris Jean I'm just finishing up the sequel to Running Lines. It's called Drawing Lines, and it follows the story of two of the secondary characters from Running Lines. It's coming soon!
Jeris Jean I get inspired to write by any number of things - I think about a person or story I've heard, maybe a conversation I've had, or I listen to music and imagine the backstory behind the song. A city or a place or an activity will seem like a good element for a story, and I try to jot it down to revisit it when I'm at my computer.

I always have more ideas than time to write them down.
Jeris Jean I saw a social media post from a gossip blog about a famous actor quarantining with a younger actor. I am fans of them both, so they were the initial inspiration for the idea. However, the characters are NOT them, and I'll never tell who they were. ;)

I'm also just a big fan of the m/m genre and I wanted to contribute.
