The Kingdoms of Islandia Trilogy came to mind as I was on my way to a church service to raise support for our return to Botswana. That stretch in my mind turned into the story I hope you enjoy today!

For me, the more I think about the story and all the small threads I'd like to weave together, the more I want to start writing again. There are days however that you just have to sit down and get started. From there the motivation gets ahold of me on its own.

I have finished up the 2nd draft of Kingdoms of Islandia's third book. I am currently playing with fun ideas for the future and taking a break from dedicated writing.

Know your strengths and your weaknesses. All of us have things we excel at and struggle with. For me, I am a dreamer. I love worldbuilding, coming up with characters, and weaving powerful themes into a story. I am absolutely horrible with grammar and the technical side of writing. As you grammar police already know ;). So, I know that I need help in that area. It's not something to be ashamed of, just something you should be honest with yourself going into your next project.

I love the idea of building a new world and lovable characters. Fictional storytelling is a way to share the truth you deeply value in a format that can speak directly to the reader's heart. Bringing imaginary kingdoms and landscapes to the mind's eye for me is like reflecting on faded memories of adventures past and dreaming of amazing ones to come!

Easy, I would go to Middle-Earth and visit every inch of that mystical world (Maybe I'd skip on Mordor).
