From everywhere! Sometimes, I just start writing what I'm feeling at a given moment and let that turn into a story. Or, someone will post something on social and that gives me some ideas. I've even gotten ideas from dreams. Inspiration can be found anywhere if you're open to receiving it.

It depends on my mood. I'll meditate, or do some yoga; if I have the time and money I'll get a massage or acupuncture. But sometimes the best way to deal with writers block is to walk away from the project that I'm feeling blocked about and write about something else. Whether it's a poem or a short story, or just a little blurb.

Book 2 of my Last Danann series. I'm trying out multiple view points with this book and it's tough changing up the character voice and perspective. However, I'm excited to see how the story evolves and how the different perspectives of Skylar round out her personality for the readers.

Just go for it! You don't have to give up your day job, you can take it one chapter at a time. Or, start a blog and create a bunch of short stories. Life's too short and too special to waste it on being or doing just one thing.
