Leading up to my book launch (May 10), these past couple of months I have not been able to read much of anything because my head feels like white noise + scrambled eggs. But my most recent book buys that I cannot wait to dive into are Body Work by Melissa Febos and In Defence of Witches by Mona Chollet. I also can't wait to finally sit down and read S.A. Cosby's Razorblade Tears.

Initially my book, Let Me Be Frank, was an idea I had for a TV series. I pitched it to a few places and always had very positive feedback but anthology shows are a tough sell. They can be expensive, especially if you are dealing with different time periods etc. So I put the idea aside for a while. I was disappointed because I wanted as many people as possible to know about these women and to marvel at their accomplishments and audacity. And then one day I thought, "I wonder if this could be a book?" and I started writing.
