I go for a walk outside or take a shower. I don't know why, but either of those things usually jogs my brain into finding the answer. On the rare occasion it's bigger than that, I take a longer break and put it out of my mind until I feel ready to tackle it.

The challenge! General ideas come to me, but I love sitting down and putting all the details together into a cohesive story. Sometimes it's slow going and other times it comes to me as fast as lightning, but either way, it's still a challenge and I love that part. Getting lost in a world of words and character development is my happy place.

I'm in the process of writing Acts of Closure, the second book in the Acts series. It's about two thirds finished, but it needs some rewriting in the earlier chapters, so I've fallen back to handle that before I continue moving forward.
