Lucas Stocks To make a plan before you publish your first book. That is especially relevant if you elect to self-publish. I personally didn't have a plan, and I made plenty of mistakes along the way. Find a mentor and ask them for advice. Heck, ask me for advice. I don't have this whole thing figured out yet, but I know much more than I did two years ago.

Check out sites like Reedsy for developing your book. Draft2digital is a great resource for publishing to multiple sites, and formatting your book into a more professional way.

Lastly, regardless of what the people in your life say, don't give up unless that is what you want. A dream is always worth pursuing.
Lucas Stocks I am currently working on publishing Catherine Sinclair: The Formation of The Holy Knights. It is a prequel set a few decades before the Luke Castello books. It follows the origin of a cast of characters I introduced in my second book.

I'm real excited about this book. There are plenty of tie-ins between both books. It also doesn't matter where you start with the series. You'll get plenty of surprised if you start with either Luke Castello: The Angel/Demon of Olympus or this new book.

(Also I'm at work on the next Luke book as well)
Lucas Stocks I listen to all sorts of different types of music. Some of it would probably be embarrassing for most people to say. I have had some of the craziest songs give me inspiration to write. When I'm in the middle of a project, I constantly think about ways I could improve a scene or character. Sometimes just keeping your mind on something can be enough.
