Simone Leigh Martin Hi Bianca, thanks for reaching out. Packless is free on all platforms, including Kindle. You can access it via the universal link getbook.at/Packless. Cheers. Simone.
Simone Leigh Martin WWW - the Wonderful World of "What if", that existed long before the Internet!
Simone Leigh Martin Two opening books for duologies:
1. The Ring Road - Village politics, fae princes, MC gangs, magic gates, runaway princesses and a stash of pot noodles.

2. Blood Vessel - Vampires, wolf ghosts, knights in shining armor, Netflix and pub nights, blood elections, and lots of resurrections.

I also have two novellas I'm working away at - Beyond the Iron Tree and The Skin King.
Simone Leigh Martin Inspiration is opening my eyes to anywhere between 4.30 and 7.30 am. The house is quiet, my books are waiting and if I'm careful, I can get tucked away under the stairs before anyone decides they want toast.
Simone Leigh Martin Nothing new - READ, and remember that writing for a living is a job. Do your apprenticeship, take feedback, bin your poor efforts and make sure you get paid for your best.
Simone Leigh Martin I don't really do horror, although some of my stories have horrible bits. But a horror story every reader and writer understands would go something like:

The door creaked, a frigid wind snaked in, and snatching up the perfect, hand-written manuscript, tossed it through the window and buried it in a bog. The End.

Geez, I've given myself shivers!!
Simone Leigh Martin I don't believe in it. It's more Writer's Fog for me. I don't stop, I just wander around in circles, my potential words tying me in knots. When it get so bad I can't see my hand in front of my face, I put on music, go for a swim, dance with my kids - basically, I get away from words. They always welcome me back, no hard feelings :)
Simone Leigh Martin I mainly read SFF (science fiction and fantasy) so my Sci Fi world would be HG Wells' "Time Machine", for obvious reasons. It's a bit of a cheat answer, because I imagine it would unlock a myriad of new times & worlds to explore. From a fantasy perspective, it would be a toss up between "The Magic Far Away Tree" by Enid Blyton, who while having lands of Presents, Spells and Dreams, also has lands of Tempers, Topsy Turvy and Do-As-You-Please, and "the Princess Bride" by William Goldman, because there is no better love match than Buttercup and her farm boy. And people get to be "mostly dead"!
