Yes, that's right, I did ask in Reddit for guidance on marketing. I have just been using social media and I have also used some email promo services (although I am doubtful about their effectiveness) Another thing I have done is made audiobook of them all and I have been promoting that on social media as well. It is not easy to promote books but I think it pays to be persistent particularly with something like humour and when the subjects are not mainstream. Hi, good question, when I was young, living in Ireland my mother went to a local "fortune teller" who told her that one of her children would one day be a lámh dubh ( this means "black hand" in Gaelic 0r "the black handed one) it means a good-for-nothing-scoundrel and strangely enough in 1997 I was stabbed in the hand for trying to steal part of a Shish Kebab in Edgware Road in London. So in a way the prophecy came true. I have recounted part of this story in one of my works but I disguise it a bit to make it seem as though it happened to someone else. In a way though the whole unhappy incident turned out well for me as the criminal compensation board in The UK gave me a few grand in compensation although the hand is still a bit discoloured and in the winter it gets a bit sore

The idea for this book came about from characters I knew when I lived in London some years ago. I have, of course, embellished the truth but some of the events recounted are based on real incidents.
