I take in nature. It's very inspiring to me. I also kick ideas back and forth with friends. It plants the seed and then I run with it. I also write based on my own experiences or dreams that I've had. There is inspiration everywhere if you know how to channel it.

Write what you want to write. Don't try to make yourself fit into a specific place. You can't push creativity like that, it won't be any good and you will regret it.
Also, take time away if you need it. You don't have to write everyday to be a writer. Sometimes you need space away from it to get where you need to go.
I also find that recording your stories and playing them back for yourself, is very helpful for catching mistakes and listening to how dialogue sounds out loud. Trust me, it's worth the time it takes.

I take a walk. Being outside in the woods helps me clear my head and helps guide me to inspiration. Sometimes I just need to work on something else for a while to get past it and sometimes I just need a clear mind.
