At the end of your work, hire a proofreader. You would ask, is this really valuable for aspiring writers? Absolutely, I've translated over 70 stories from El Salvador and my English is quite good. Grammarly and Scribens couldn't find major issues. However, my proofreader found so many that you would be impressed. She encouraged me to write around 15 or 20 extra pages to make it readable to non-Salvadorans. It's a valuable investment.

I just keep writing and split the ideas in my notes app. I don't discard the ideas, but I collect them and then, I analyze if I can re-use them.

(view spoiler)[I'm writing the second volume of Timeless Stories of El Salvador. This book includes some "modern" stories. You could consider them as "complementary" ones like the Black Horse, the formidable friend of the Black Knight. He has been part of all his evil adventures for a while. (hide spoiler)]

I just start writing. Maybe the story might not be as good as I would like to, but I start getting some ideas. I tend to write at night most of the time.

It was a mix of multiple events:
1) Different presentations in Lodz and Warsaw in Poland. Several people from all over the world asked me if there was any book, and there was none in English.
2) Travels across Poland where people told me the same story about the Dragon of Babel. I was surprised that the Polish people had only one story.
3) The uniqueness of our Salvadoran tales.
