From the people around me. Ever since I started my nomadic journey in 2010, I've always been asked the same questions. It did get a little annoying at one point. However, I've realised those questions are posed because of a lack of understanding. I was inspired to write the book to provide that understanding, to help people with their fears and ease their concerns.
My book answers any question you may have about long term solo travel to help you prepare for your future travels.

My traveling life inspires me. The things around me, the places I visit, and the people I meet. Being an experienced traveler with over 10 years of experience It inspires me to write when I see first time travelers just starting their travels and by those who don't travel but have a curiosity and want to know how It's possible to do it. I love inspiring those who want to do it to build the courage to do it. (Not right now during the pandemic though)
I have years of experience and knowledge that's bursting at the seems to be let out and that's what I'm doing.
I write to inspire and help others.

To keep going, don't give up. Be prepared for days you feel emotionally drained, times you think you're not good enough. Listen to your heart. I would also recommend building a support network, but not people who will lie to you. You need people you will give honest opinions, point out when you've gone off track, have slacked, or simply not being good enough. Those people will be your rock, and steer you in the right direction.
Along the way, don't get disheartened, be prepared to take the rough with the smooth

For my mind to roam free, to get my emotions, feelings, advice and knowledge out of my mind and onto paper.
It's just a great feeling as my words form into something that will help others in the future. To be able to help others live out their dreams, just like I did, to influence peoples lives in a positive way is the greatest feeling. I know what it feels like, sometimes we just need the right encouragement and push in the right direction. There is no better feeling than knowing you were able to help another accomplish their dreams

For me It's to step away for a short period, and go for a walk. Fresh air helps clear my mind. When I'm traveling I try and find a quiet place and just listen to nature, whether that's somewhere I can hear the sea, listen to waves crashing against rocks, into the woods.
When I'm back home in England, It's just a case of going for a simple stroll. I try and block out any thoughts and let my mind uncloud. Once my mind opens up, words tend to come rushing back and the block is gone.
