All kinds of things inspire me to write. I am in ministry, so I do a lot of writing on spiritual matters and Christianity in general. Other than that, I often find that various day-to-day experiences will provide a spark. I like to commemorate those events in an opinion blog or article.

There are two books that I am working on, both of which are n their infancy. Very shortly, I will choose one to focus on and complete the first draft.

My most recent book is also my first book. The idea for The Family Concept came from my wife and daughter, who both encouraged me to write a book on family relationships based on the seminars I previously conducted at our church. I used those seminars as the raw material for the book.

I have a couple of books and my reading list. I plan to read "Twenty Evolutionary Blunders," by Randy J. Guliuzza. As the title suggests, the book addresses the fallacy that evolution is a scientific fact. I also plan to read a book about white privilege called, "White Like Me" by Tim Wise. Those are heavy subjects, so I would not call them summer reading.
