Ann Jensen Do one thing every day to move a little closer to your goals. Even ten words written while waiting on hold is more than you had yesterday. The journey may be long but as long as you move forward you will eventually get there.
Ann Jensen I have extremely vivid dreams that sometime repeat over and over stuck in a loop. In order to break that cycle I have to write it out and take it to the next scene. I often can guide my dreams by thinking about plots before I fall asleep but sometimes new stories come out of nowhere and invade my sleep till I at least do a basic outline freeing my brain to move onto the next idea.
Ann Jensen When I was younger I knew people who were in a 1% motorcycle club and was friends with some of the women who dated them. I do not recommend that lifestyle for anyone but the fantasy of that life mixed together with the wonderful soldiers I've met over the years clashed to create the world of the Dark Sons. The story lines themselves came from dreams.
Ann Jensen I go back at least two chapters and start edits. If that doesn't work I rewrite the previous chapters from a different character's perspective. My final trick is I think of the most ridiculous thing the characters could do or say and start writing that and eventually my brain kicks back in.
Ann Jensen Book two of the Dark Son's Series is finished and in Publisher edits. Book three rough draft is finished and I'm in the self editing phase. Book four is outlined and I will be starting it this weekend.
