There are quite a few I'd like to visit, but there were two that came to my mind just now...the world of "Juliet" by Anne Fortier and "The Sense of the Past" by Henry James. As to what I would do in those worlds, I honestly couldn't say!

I found myself remembering a TV documentary I'd seen about Sally Townsend many years before, and wishing I could see it again. After some internet searches, I found out about her connection to the Culper Ring, and I realized that the story of Sally and her brother Robert would make a fascinating novel. The previous summer, I'd written a novella (quite unexpectedly), and so I dared myself to try my hand at a novel. The rest, as they say, is history!

To simply begin writing, even if I'm not feeling inspired. The inspiration usually follows, sooner or later, once I am enmeshed in the writing process.

Choosing your own hours and, to a certain extent, being your own boss. Being able to work alone is also a plus, if you're an introvert!
