I'm a huge comic book fan and I've always wanted to work in the industry. One day while I was at my local comic shop, the idea hit me out of the blue. That was back in the 90's. I held on to it for a long time until it finally forced its way out 2 years ago. Instead of making it a comic book my wife suggested turning it into a novel. I got typing and here we are.
