You could say that "Another Day's Begun" has been developing at least since I saw "Our Town" for the first time in 1988, and was accelerated by two productions I saw in 2010 and 2013, and the earliest draft was an article I wrote for American Theatre magazine in 2017.

I don't actually have writer's block, because I'm conditioned to write on deadline. My block is "thinker's block," because I can't write until I've pretty much worked out things in my head, I can't type them out.
