A mystery in my life? That's a difficult one. Some people who think they know me, would say my entire life is an entirely open book, no mystery at all, while others would say that's not true; they'd say most, if not all of my life is a mystery. That I keep too many things closed off and make people work for answers I should just volunteer, which drives my mom absolutely crazy. She's told me several times I'm not living in a mystery book, I don't need to be so closed otf.

Dealing with writer's block can be tricky. I often reread what I wrote several times to try and get past it, but if that doesn't work, I will try going for a walk or even watching a television for a while. Or maybe even reading. Then, after a couple of hours, I go back to my writing and see what I can do. Even if it's writing about something completely different, I write. I'll save the new writing, but I write.

The best thing about being a writer for me, is that I can live in the stories I envision in my mind for each of the characters. Or I can create an entirely new world first, THEN create the characters to go on the world. I HAVE THE POWER to do as I want as the writer!!

AS I am still an aspiring author myself, all I can tell is get out there and write!! Don't be afraid to try! If we don't try, we won't succeed, so the first thing we need to do is at least reach out our hand and say, "My name is whatever, I wrote ____book. It's about ____ and I would be thrilled if you could help me out by reading an ARC copy of my book and leaving me an honest review when you are done!! ARC (Advanced Reader Copies) can really help you out when you are just starting out, and many authors send out ARC copies when they first have a new releases. It helps promote their new book.

I am currently working on the the sequel to Because of You: Covert OPS. Due to You: Covert: OPS should be finished in about three months hopefully, then I will immediately start on the third book Thanks to You: Covert OPS.

It can be anything that inspires me to write! I often write as soon as I get out of bed in the morning, or some mornings I have to wait until I have a couple of cups of coffee before I start writing. Then I have days where I don't start my writing until I I'm laying in bed and getting ready for bed. But I always carry a notebook with me everywhere I go. Even to work or grocery shopping with my Mom, because you never know what you're going to see or hear while you're out, and you're going to want to write it down; if you don't, you will (99.99% of the time) forget what it was you either saw or heard and you will kick yourself later because that could have possibly become a short story/novella/novel or even a poem.

Due to You is part of a Trilogy I have been trying to work on since 1998, shortly after I joined the Navy. The idea came to me based on a a guy I went to my OS "A" School with. He was actually my Instructor. I met a Fireman Third Class Petty Officer (FN3) one morning I had a migraine and couldn't open a cereal box. He took it out of my hands without a word, opened it for me, poured it in my bowl, poured milk on it, then took my tray and sat it on a table and sat down. When I went to pick it up, the table I wanted was in use so I sat down and started eating, hoping to get out of there soon, but it wasn't soon enough. The FN3 said his name was Charles and everyone called him Chuck. He said he was a virgin and he was waiting for his wife, and that I was going to be his wife. I looked exactly how he thought his wife should look, and we were going to get married in a month, once the marriage licenses came in. Never mind, he had not asked what my name was at this point, he didn't care. All I knew was his name was Chuck and he made me want to upchuck. And everywhere I went, he was there. He waited for me breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I started being lasted for classes because I was trying to hide from Charles. I was losing wait because I was skipping some breakfast and lunch, and I stopped eating dinner altogether. My Instructor finally asked me what was going on,, and I told him. He thought I blowing things out of proportion, but he still had of the other students go with me everywhere. Charles saw us together and got pissed. He confronted the student with me and tried to start a fight. The student knocked the s*&% out of him. He told the Instructor what happened and the Instructor said I can't go anywhere alone. He didn't trust the FN3. I told him I understood. A couple of weeks passed and we were told the FN3 was being discharged so I could start going out by myself again. During a test on Friday the week I was given my freedom, Charles came to my classroom asking for me. My Instructor asked if I wanted to go out and meet with him, I told him no, and Charles pulled out a .45 and said if I didn't leave him, he was going to start shooting. My Instructor literally jumped on top of one table, over another, barely touched the third, and tackled Charles as he was ranting at me. I kept telling him he's not someone I would be interested in and shouted for everyone to hear I had to be because I was the only he deemed worthy enough for him. Why he didn't pay attention for my Instructor I don't know, but my Instructor got the gun away from him with no difficulties, and beat the s&$+% out of Charles this time, not the student, but the big difference between the two, my Instructor was a SEAL, and the student that beat him was only trying out for BUDS, Basic Underwater Demolition Training. They're both completely in shape, but my Instructor has all the training. And that was when I actually got the idea my book series Covert OPS. But it's only taken me 23yrs to get the first book, Because of You: Covert OPS released and the second and third books to be in the works!

This is a difficult question to answer because there are so many different worlds I would love to go and explore or live in!! I would love to live on Eternia and be a bard (storyteller) where I can for King Randor and Queen Marlena, but be able to fight alongside He-Man and his men. I would also love to live in the forests with the Elves in Lord of Rings, and again, be a storyteller.

Right now I am reading The Hollows series by Kim Harrison that was suggested to me by a dear friend, as well as a series called Angel's Halo: Next Generation written by an extremely wonderful author I am proud to call a friend of mine, Terri Ann Browning. I've read Angel's Halo multiple times and it's still one of my go-to series when I'm feeling down. The Next Generation is a collection of books I have been eagerly anticipating and holding off to read until I have the entire set which I now do, so I am now in the process of reading them. Patricia Briggs's Merci Thomas books are also on my reading list for this Summer, as well as her Alpha and Omega books, so I should have plenty to read when I am not writing.
