Before I started the series, I became intrigued by what we call psychopathy. One of my friends told me about a psychopath who murdered his family in her neighborhood. I had to know WHY? As a family therapist, I had psychopathic patients. All of it led to intensive research, interviews, etc. until the concept expanded to The Psychopath Spectrum (psychopaths who are "good" and don't kill), and of course, the psychological victims of psychopaths. Broken By Truth is the first book in a 7-book series. The second book, Broken By Birth, will be launched soon (although it's presently available on Amazon). After that, I'll be launching the books in the series that follow - along with a "final" prequel.
In my head, I'm already setting up the next series! Writing won't begin until the Broken series is completely launched. I keep everything moving by constantly photography - both a joy and a challenge.

I was born to be a writer! I love/hate my characters - when I'm immersed in writing a book they're more real to me than the people next door. Readers are my "dessert" - the joy of sharing my words with someone who is listening.

To be honest, I never have it. I have the opposite problem - too many ideas and characters swimming in my head. I often take time to sort them out - filing them if necessary - to clear my mind.
