I just finished writing a family drama, mainstream women's fiction. At this time I am in deep editing mode. And it's painful! I am hoping to have it published by September. Keep you posted.!

When I am writing, I feel like I've been transported to another world. This is probably why I will never write a horror story!
I enjoy the escape... spending time with characters you create as you go, ride a horse, fly a plane or some other daring adventure that I would never attempt in real life. But never say never!
I would also have to say, when you create that perfect sentence that just sings, or you see something in a unique way and you are able to capture it in words. When I am writing there is one rule... Never stop writing until I have written at least one sentence that makes me say "Wow, I can't believe I wrote that! " Just so you know, that means I have to stay up really, reeeeally late some nights.

Write! Push through it! It may be a jumbled mess at first... but it all seems to smooth out as you go. And if the writing is really bad, I can always use it to start a nice fire on a cold night.

I would travel to Australia, and visit the Cleary homestead... Drogheda from the Thorn Birds! While I was there, I would try to find wives for those sad brothers. lol

This has been a difficult year for everyone, and I wanted to contribute something positive to the mental health of our children. This book shines a spotlight on the issues our children are dealing with on a daily basis: Uncomfortable masks, sore ears and missing friends and especially missing the smiles of loved ones.
