I’m hard at work on December's Barren (Fairy Glen Suspense, Book 3) for release this December. It delves deeper into the story of The Gray Girl, who was introduced in November's Missing.

It's December in Fairy Glen, and everyone should be getting into the holiday spirit. But Lina's marriage is on the rocks, her job is in jeopardy, and now she's been asked to loan her extra horse to Samantha Austin, the girl who ran away from her parents and lived in the woods for over a month. Turns out, horse therapy is good for dealing with trauma, and as Lina and Sam ride together, they share secrets of their pasts--Sam's upbringing in a religious fundamentalist sect, and Lina's Bosnian war tales.
When Sam is abducted right outside the Fairy Glen fire house during the Christmas party, Lina must cast aside her fears and go after her. To do so, she'll go undercover at a hippie festival, infiltrate the local commune, and finally set out on her horse across vast deserts. Along the way she’ll be guided by the curious denizens of December's Barren.
