Read your works out loud in public. In my twenties I went to open mics in Seattle and when I read my writing it fired up my inner editor ten times more than she/he had ever been fired up before. After reading in public I would make some of the best improvements to my writing I have ever made.

Coffee in the morning is my writing happy hour. I also read a lot. Science and discovery inspires me. Fear of what the future will be like causes me to imagine all kinds of scary scenarios and writing about them helps me cope with the future ahead of time.
