I wave at it as it passes by. Sometimes it takes a bit longer before it has completely passed by, but I don't let it pressure me. Writing is supposed to be fun. If I don't feel it, I don't write. Keeping a relaxed state of mind without thinking that I 'should be' writing helps to get through those moments quicker than fighting it.

It can basically be done anywhere. I've written pieces while I was on the train or in the car (not driving of course), I've written while the kids were playing at the playground and when I had some time to relax in a café. Just looking around at those different places can be inspiring. The littlest thing can be inspiring. You just need to find the right angle to look at it.

I'm currently working on the third book in the Dragon Wings series, as well as the translation of the first book. I hope to get all the books translated to English. They are originally written in Dutch.

My brain is on constant fantasy mode. All I need is a medium to write on and I can be writing for hours. At the same time I can be avoiding writing for weeks, months even, and just fantasize about every possible route my characters can take.

The book I've just released and the book I'm currently working on are all part of the Dragon Wings series. The idea for the first book came to me while I was daydreaming about lying in the grass and watching a dark shape cross the sky above me. The rest of the series grew out of that.
