Being a writer involves actually writing--not talking about writing, not dreaming about writing, not thinking about writing. You must get in the habit of writing every single day--even the days where you don't feel like it or don't have time. Writing is a discipline thing. Your book must become your best friend. If you're passionate about the story you are telling, it won't be difficult to love it despite its challenges.
