The WildSpace! series was founded on the idea of capturing the spirit of the american frontier, and the sorts of people an environment like that would forge. The galaxy of the Conglomerate is shown through the worst of the corporate experience, hard and rigid, while also being beneficial in their way in terms of business. At what cost though? A sort of great civilization that discourages individual independence outside of their system. The Edge is the promise of something new, more personable, more real to the common people. The promise of individuality and the freedom that kind of life can bring.

I consume any sort of storytelling I can: Novels, comics, movies, television series. Also, I try to never forget that the root of realism is found in everyday life. Taking one's own experiences into account, I've found, helps fortify mood and tone in my own writing.

Sometimes the best way to resolve a block is to walk away, however if it's a contextual issue consider the big picture from a smaller point of view. Unless a character is omniscient they could be considered a non-reliable narrator, which are often the most intriguing.

I like this question! Currently I am working on the sequel to Call to the Edge in my WildSpace! series. The sequel is called Life on the Edge, and will pick up the story three years later! Stay tuned!

Keep writing. Just keep writing anything you can, don't be afraid to develop an idea, even if it doesn't catch fire, because you can still use it even if it's just for a lesson to yourself. Develop the strange idea, think in the shower, anything to broaden your imagination. Also, never forget that all criticism is important, even the kind that hurts.

In my family, one of our most cherished traditions is the art of storytelling. The impact a story can have on an individual is truly humbling, and the effects can be varied. Escapism, commentary, anything. To be able to call myself a storyteller is a great responsibility and an incredible honor.

I would adore going into Tamriel from Bethesda Game Studio's famous The Elder Scrolls franchise. Specifically the province of Cyrodill to just travel the center province. I have fond memories there, and to see it in person would be breathtaking. I could make similar claims of Skyrim and Morrowind's Vvardynfell but Cyrodill has a special place in my heart.

I would love to finish the new Star Wars High Republic novels when they come out, Rising Storm and Out of Darkness I believe they are called. As well as finishing Days of Atonement, an old Napoleonic Pussian Era murder mystery.
