There's no such thing. Plumbers don't get plumber's block, Doctors don't get Doctor's block, why do writers think they're allowed a special term to describe their inability to get on with their job? If you think you've got writer's block, then stop thinking that and sit down and do some writing instead.

I don't really get inspired - I just like writing. The best stuff doesn't come before I write, it comes when I'm actually writing, so I'm always motivated to write as there's always a chance that something good will come out.

I wrote an article for Vice about a DJing experience, it went very well and I really enjoyed writing it - and thought that perhaps I could carry on and write about some other DJing experiences - and it just grew from there. I figured there would be an audience for low rent DJ tales simply because there were lots of low rent DJs. Then it was just a task of somehow reconstructing the memories and putting them all in order, then adding in every single thing I've ever thought about DJing 🙂
