Typically, I check my self-care regimen.
If I'm not resting, eating, and sleeping well, I correct those first, and then figure out the least-interesting angle of my material and talk through it.

That's a great question! Since this is my first book to market, I do feel a sense of accomplishment that the voice that I wanted to elevate (in this case, mine) is now visible/audible to the world.

Different life experiences inspire me. Those include music; bicycling, reading; relationships, and great food. If I can get into a space and feel centered, I am often given some inspiration.

The idea to write my most recent book came from my personal experience dealing with grief and loss. I had shared the practice with several people and felt led to share it with so many more.
