I (obviously) love political and mystery stories, so American Royals by Katharine Mcgee is up there, as well as the rest of Charlotte Holmes and Red White and Royal Blue. I also need to finish Julie Andrew's memoir, Homework sometime soon.

I am a very big planner. I write an overarching summary months prior to writing the story and then I do a very long chapter-by-chapter outline on my computer and finally transfer it all into a notebook. It gets even more complicated along the way so I won't bore you with the details, but my I always know what will happen next in the story. For me, writer's block comes in the form of "I don't know how to word this". So usually, when faced with that, I just don't write, but it'll often come to me at late hours of the night and then it ends well! (That's probably not a good idea, but it works.)

Getting to tell a story! I have so many friends who started writing because they thought a story would be a good idea, but quickly fell out of love with it. I am lucky enough to say that the story I created was something I cared for so much and something that just feels right so I'm able to just whip through the stories. It's just the passion and the releasing of ideas from my head that I love.

Just do it. Writing is something that I definitely love, so I just wrote and a few months later I self published. If you want to be really professional about it then I'm probably not the best person to ask. I am still a student and I'm actually preparing for a life in acting.

I'm currently working on book three of the Mission series. I don't like to finish a book and go directly into the editing phase. Usually the same day that I finish a first draft is the day I start the sequel, so I'm writing book book 3 and editing book 2 at the same time. I also have a standalone side project that's a royal murder mystery but I haven't worked on it in a while.

I try to write everyday using NaNoWriMo, but I often write during free-time in school and when I feel especially motivated. I am a theatre student, actually, so I have a very busy schedule on top of school and writing. I usually just work when I can.

I got the idea after reading a book about a girl's school for spies in 5th grade. I had a friend who got the writing bug at the same time, so the two of us just wrote vague fanfictions off of those books. A few years later I reread the story and decided to finish writing the series that I badly started a while ago. My friend's debut book comes out later this year :)
