I am currently working on a spin off from Jamie's Story with one of the characters. The storyline will lead this book more than the characters' lives, so it's been a challenge. It's three quarters finished and coming along nicely --when I can find the time to write.

I take my inspiration from my memories. Sometimes an idea can come from a particular song or from a comment that someone has posted somewhere. The past is a powerful tool. Getting it on paper is a welcome challenge.

My first book Jamie's Story is loosely based on my experience of growing up on a council estate in Newport, South Wales. The story is fiction, but the community differences are very real. I am very proud of my background, and the community spirit experienced far outweighs any negativity of the place, as it moulded me into the person I am today.
I have entertained in South Wales since starting Karaoke nights in the early 90s, then moving on to singing and Club DJ. I also ran my own LGBTQ nightclub 'The Arch' and made many lifelong friends. Drawing from these experiences, I could create believable characters and plotlines for Jamie's Story.
