Writer's block is truly the enemy and I've faced it weekly. When I was writing the Web of Humanity, it was often after work, when I was already tired, at one of the many coffee shops I frequented. Yes, I was THAT person "working on my novel" coffee in hand. As cliche as that sounds, my surroundings are vital to my mood and inspiration. For me, being in a charming caffeine-encouraging environment with other folks who are reading or working, puts me in the mood to do the same. Rereading some of my favorite writers while in a slump has also helped with motivation. Have I mentioned coffee yet? :)
