I read an article about nanotechnology that could be used for blocking neurons in the brain. It would be able to remove specific memory patterns. The only thing that they weren't sure about was how to make sure that the immune system wouldn't attack the nanobots. There were multiple solutions to this but they would have to test them out. I started thinking about how it would affect your brain if your immune system would be fighting the nanobots in your head that kept you from certain memories. That's where I started writing.
