John A. Hopkins Largely the news - magazines and online. A ton of tiny ideas, but it then takes work to incorporate them into a story. For example in my book The Careless Fraudster, the some of the inspirations came from reading about the world's most polluted places, and how solar power has transformed the opium trade.
John A. Hopkins I am currently plotting a second novel set in London.
John A. Hopkins Don't give up. I've got a load of projects on the go, and it has taken me many years of dipping in and out before I have finally managed to get to a point where I finished something.
John A. Hopkins It would probably be The Martian, and I would want to take my camera and take a ton of photo's that I could bring back to Earth.
That said, Jurassic Park and the dinosaur pictures would be great as well!
