Jennifer R. Jensen My advice would be to keep working at it, and don't be afraid of not being "good enough". Everyone has different writing styles. Just because you aren't one reader's cup of tea, doesn't mean there isn't an entire fan base waiting for you.

Jennifer R. Jensen Most of my ideas come to me while driving or trying to fall asleep. So the ideas are random (monologues from MC's) that I hear in my head. But the idea's for the scenes themselves are usually inspired by music.
Jennifer R. Jensen I've always wanted to do a modern-day spin on a classic fairytale, but this particular one came to me as everything else I write—a monologue in the MC's voice. Typically the monologue is scrapped at some point, but because "This Provincial Life" is a novella, I kept it as the beginning.
