Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Geoffrey Stewart I stumbled across parts of the story while doing local research and it just lead me to previously unknown paths.

How do you get inspired to write?
Geoffrey Stewart It was all about the the challenge of being a history detective. I love solving stories from the past or at least attempting to.

What are you currently working on?
Geoffrey Stewart I have a story about my grandfather during WW2 that is deserving of recording.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Geoffrey Stewart Patience. My book here has taken 30 years to get me to a stage wher I was able to write it.

Geoffrey Stewart Finishing what you set out to do.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Geoffrey Stewart This is not really an issue for me as my stories come from my research and so it is always interesting to provide the narrative and allow the research to drive the story.

What books are on your summer reading list this year?
Geoffrey Stewart I have just started reading 'Shahnameh' Abolqasem Ferdowsi. This is how older cultures use their history. I'm loving its so far.
