Gustavo, I wish there was a Spanish version of all three books! But my Spanish publisher decided not to continue the series. If it was my decision all three books would be in Spanish!

Oh, I hope so. I'm working on a number of other things at the moment, but I'd love to return to Acacia someday. I just have to find the right way to do so. Thanks for asking about it!

I just finished the trilogy and honestly I would love to have one more journey in the world of Acacia.

I read Shogun back in college and liked it. Haven't read Aztec, but both titles have things in common with my novel Pride of Carthage. It's about Hannibal's war with ancient Rome. The novel that I've just completed is another big one with an ancient Roman theme - it's about the Spartacus rebellion. It goes off to my publisher in a few days! Though it won't appear until 2016.

Thanks, Justin. It would be great if you'd pick up Pride of Carthage! It's a standalone novel, though, not a series.

David, yes, I did a little revising. The hardback and the massmarket paperback are the original version. But when my publisher decided to do a trade paperback edition also, I asked if I could make a few changes. They said yes. So look for the trade edition - also by Anchor.
I didn't add material or change any of the plot lines or events. It was really just that I wanted to streamline the opening part a bit. I thought (as some readers did as well!) that the pacing could be a little faster. So, I went at it with a scalpel. Hopefully, a reader won't notice anything missing. They'll just get to Part Two a little faster!

Thanks Marcus. Very glad to hear you liked the trilogy. Right now, nothing is happening with an Acacia film. The book was optioned a few years ago. A script was even written. But in the end nothing came of it and the option lapsed. So, no Acacia movie anytime soon. (There are, however, movie prospects for two of my other books. I'll offer more on that soon.)

I've finished a new historical novel. This one is about the Spartacus rebellion in ancient Rome. I've been working on it for a few years now, and I'm so pleased that it's finally out of my hands and into production!
So I'm trying to figure out what comes next. Not exactly easy, that...
