Usually, I step away from my device and do something relaxing. I go out for a drive, or watch TV. If my son is around, I play with him while listening to music.
Sometimes, if I have a deadline, I timebox myself and switch to research on the web, or reading an article that I had bookmarked.

My mother had a saying, "If you have not done something to improve a human’s life in some way, then you have not truly lived." She was a strong and empathic human, incredibly driven and motivated to help people, sometimes at her inconvenience. I was fortunate to have such a strong and compassionate woman as a role model in my life. Her parenting, support, and her work stories are what made me passionate about empathy for humanity.
The last few years have been extremely hard on all of us and humanity has been suffering from stress, anxiety, and adversity. This book is my endeavor to help people understand, acknowledge, and deal with these challenging issues, and empower people to become empathic leaders and improve human lives in tangible ways.
