We just moved into an old house. It’s not haunted or anything like that, but we have found some very odd things around the house. In particular, several windows are either nailed or screwed shut (some on the inside of the windows, some on the outside) as well as some doors have alarms on them…on the outside of the door - indicating if someone wants to leave, an alarm would sound. Don’t really know what was happening there.

Revising book 2: The Moon Beyond the Fire, and starting to plot book 3: The Tower Beyond the Tempest.

I’m a plotter/pantser blend. I have points that my story needs to get to, but sometimes I don’t know how they will get there and it’s like a drama unfolding right before me. There has been several occassions that things happened I wasn’t expecting and I feel like I’m experiencing things just has the reader would. I love it. I feel motivated to write to see how will they get to point ‘b’.

I’ll just write anyway. I’ve written pages and then it’ll hit me where the story needs to go and that might mean I have to re-write those pages or tweak them. Ultimately, I have to be forgiving of my processes.

I’m so behind on my reading, and tv viewing. I’ve just been either doing my photography or writing. I’m not complaining, but when I have so much going on, I can’t focus. I’m looking forward to the day I can get back to it.
