My favorite place to write is outdoors on a sunny, warm day. I love sitting on a hammock or by a window. The sunlight really draws my creativity. I also love listening to calming music. Peder B. Helland and Jeremy Soule are two composers I listen to on repeat as I write

I enjoy writing smaller story's to keep my head clear. Things like fan-fiction are one of my favorite things to unwind. I keep them private and just for me as a way to relax.
I always encourage other authors to take breaks between writing if they can. I never put myself on a time frame because I feel that it limits me more than it helps. Rewriting something I wrote in NaNoWriMo is more work than just writing out the draft when I have the time, patience, and mindset to do it. I'd rather have (or read) a well-thought-out story than a rushed one.

Just write! Don't worry about where to start or how to do it - writing is a skill that you learn and develop as you grow! Your first draft will not be your final draft. You will rewrite it multiple times - but once you find your "voice" it will all come together and you will be so proud and humbled at the amazing story you created!
