It used to be that you were an author, but now it seems like everyone has written a book - or had someone write it for them. Now it's like keeping up with the Joneses. That aside... it's just a good feeling of fulfillment.

To be honest, it was my father's failing health that pushed me to go after the project. He has gone to be with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but the book was in his hands with time to read it before that day came.

Dirt Grenades is the culmination of a six-year project that began after my father and I spoke for the Father's Day services at Friends Church Yorba Linda. Several people suggested that the content should be in a book. My father-in-law in particular lovingly pressed the issue. This book is a result of that prompting.
