Caroline Fleur I would say to just sit down and start writing the story. Don’t worry about the entire process or you might become so overwhelmed you will never get started. Desmond Tutu said, “There’s only one way to eat an elephant, a bite at a time.” Just do today’s writing, then tomorrow’s, and so on. You still have your life which will throw up obstacles constantly as well. Write when you can, and eventually you will have a manuscript, which will feel amazing. Then the drafting process starts... it is a marathon, not a sprint.
Caroline Fleur I always wanted to write a women's fiction book because it's my favorite genre... it always seemed like a happy medium between romance and contemporary fiction. I love to read empowering stories for women. My son has multiple food allergies so I always wanted to address that topic as well. I finally settled on including a character with food allergies in my fiction book. My goal was to entertain readers, but also show a glimpse of the daily balancing act families like mine have to perform.
