Being able to absorb pleasure from stories, stories in books, hidden within poems, in people's body languages, in relationships we share with others, in personal journals, in recipes of family tradition, in old customs and cultural rituals, in historical narratives and even in silent observations. Writing makes me more empathetic and down-to-earth than anything else ever did. It allows me to feel humble without belittling my existence. I think writing makes us liberated and free.
