Writer's block is a fallacy imho. If I am stuck with a white page for let's say two milliseconds, I would just write something. Like I said in another post, just start writing about a mundane thing then let it grow into a full-blown novel. Writing begets ideas and ideas beget writing. It's contagious.

Write.
Start with a two-page thing. Think of something, like a guy walking down the road. Then start to write, describe what he feels, the environment, the weather. Then add in something which is interesting as a car accident, meeting someone, rain. Anything. A really good exercise to develop your joy of writing a story. You'll soon find that something so simple can lead to a major novel as idea sprout up during the writing.
