Because I am a young author, the books that have caught my attention for the summer have been chick-lit as well as young adult fiction. Although I'm not big on corny chick-lit stories, the ones I've had the pleasure of reading have been very nice.

Like I've mentioned in a previous answer, writing is more of a natural process for me. Very rare do I try to sit and force myself to write a story or a poem, so when I get "writer's block", it feels like I've only put a pause on my story and I accept that. When my story is ready to be un-paused, I resume writing as if nothing happened.

This is tricky because it happens in a variety of ways. Sometimes I write based on dreams I've had, based on books I've read, based on emotions I feel, or based on something I've seen or experienced. It's a very natural process for me and I prefer not to rush through it.

Well I have many things that I'm working on, but nothing has a set time to come out at the moment. My only tip is to keep your eyes open for a sneak peek, because I'll definitely be sharing that before I release the full version.

Just write. I've been writing since I was in the first grade and you won't believe how many people wanted me to publish the things I was writing about. The key is that you practice your version of story-telling until you're ready to share it with the world. So write, write, write.

I went through a lot of emotions in the past few years and the best way I could express them was through my writing. During the pandemic, I actually had a chance to sit down and re-read my feelings, and that's when I realized that the emotions that I was going through were emotions that other people have felt and could relate to. Thus, I put together my collection and self-published it for the world to see.
