The sequel to Not the Victor! When I finished, I thought I might not be able to come up with a suitable plot that would fit with the ending of my prior book, which tied everything up with a neat little bow. So I sat on it for awhile and finally had an idea spring up, so I am running with it!

I am a big, big fan of stepping away. It took me six months to write my first book - I started with a Nanowrimo goal of 50k and blew through it, and then hit many, many roadblocks. I would put it down, go read something I enjoyed or was interested in, take a few days or even a week to reset. And then when I would come back, I would re-read from the beginning, and would find myself suddenly sucked back and able to continue.
