Sharmeen Farooq More than inspiration, it's my need to write that motivates me, There is so much I still need to say, to show, to share, and to voice. And so much that I feel others need to hear, to know that they are not alone in thinking, feeling, and experiencing the same. My want to help others and connect is also a great inspiration.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Sharmeen Farooq Read, write, and say goodbye to self-doubt. If you think you're good at writing, you probably are, because every one in love with words and stories can create magic when handed a wand (pen). But keep growing by honing your skills through craft books and then let your imagination take over.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Sharmeen Farooq Never having to officially retire, working when and where you feel the best at any given time, being able to live other lives, expressing your deepest emotions and thoughts, being able to connect with readers who can relate to you and your characters, creating lives and worlds out of words alone, making people laugh, cry, think, feel... (+ a hundred more!)
