I have never really had writer's block. I keep a notebook with me most times, and write down any story ideas, story fragments, charaters I dream up, whatever. If I don't know what I want to write, I just thumb through that notebook and work on something.

That is actually hard to say. The basic idea came to me as a fragment of a story, and I wrote the entire thing as a seat of the pants experience. I had no idea how the story would go or how it would end. I wrote it as much to find out what happpened as I did to finish a book. Some authors talk a great deal about foreshadowing and such. I really just want to tell a good story. I'm not nearly so worried about a "layered" story.

I am working on the sequel to Longshot: A Life Less Ordinary, plus a collection of short stories that tell one larger story from multiple points of view over several thousand years, called The Beacon Worlds. I am also planning another book at some point in the future, and I am writing a few unreleated short stories as time and inspiration permit.
