Kennedi Darling I'll have a general plot idea and then either my imagination or my character's voices take over and I get the bare bones written down. Then it becomes an obsession, trying to tell the story.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kennedi Darling I had this reoccurring dream for a couple weeks that I'd written a book. Each day I woke from the dream, bits and pieces stuck with me. Then one day I woke up with these characters talking to me, telling me their story. They got so loud I couldn't ignore them.

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Kennedi Darling I will typically read something in another genre as well as talk it through with either my alpha reader or another author.

What books are on your summer reading list this year?

Kennedi Darling I don't have a list of titles, but I will be reading through a couple of Meghan March's Anti-Heroes series again, rereading the Dare Menage series by Jeanne St James, the Perfect Hand series by Nora Phoenix, and a couple books in Astrophysics by Neil Degrasse.

Kennedi Darling She woke up exhausted, and stumbled into the kitchen. When she reached for the mug of coffee that had been set to brew, she realized she was out of coffee.
