I'm a big reader of history of all types - not simply presidential history. (It would take me a couple of **days** to mark all the books I've read in Goodreads.) I've found that adapting the lessons I've learned has helped me become a better advertising professional. Marketer in Chief gave me a structure to explore each president...not just the "popular" ones...and see what I could learn. It was a pure joy to research and write, and I hope people who wouldn't ordinarily enjoy history would like it too.

I'm in the early stages of writing a history of the unsung people who created World War II propaganda in the United States, Germany, the Soviet Union, Japan, and Great Britain. Those "battlefronts" were just as important as the military and political battles. Why? Because if the home front wasn't on board for "total war", you might win a battle or two, but you'd lose the war.
