Follow your heart. It knows what it wants to write. People too often worry about if what they write will be well received or liked. I think this is because our works as writers are a reflection of ourselves and our beliefs, but I will say the same about this as I do about worrying if people like you as a person: love who you are. Love what you are capable of. You were born with certain talents and flaws, which is what makes you special. Whatever work in progress you have couldn't be written by anyone but you. That's what makes it special and worth reading. We all have a story inside us, so tell us yours.

The best way I deal with writer's block is pacing while listening to a song that fits the mood of the chapter that I am having troubles with.
