Vanessa Hall Hi Anna! Good question, and it has a number of answers. :) I started writing when I was about ten years old, but I ended up stopping during the middle of my teen years. Then I started back to writing when I was seventeen, and I haven't stopped since! :) I think I wrote the first draft of my first published book when I was eighteen (but it's far different now, haha!)
Vanessa Hall Such good questions, Elisabeth! Sadly, I have never been to Russia, though the more I write about it, the more I want to visit someday!

And for your second question, I guess it's a number of reasons. My original idea was a Russian ballerina and some sort of foreign spy, because the most cliche spy idea these days has something to do with Russia, right? :) Though that plot never really happened (it turned into Unknown, which has nothing to do with a spy), I still wanted to write something about this mysterious country. I've always loved ballet, and Russia is one of the most famous countries for that art form. And added to my enjoyment of armwrestling - also popular in Russia - I just had to write a book set there. All in all, I guess the Lord just wanted me to write a book set in Russia! :)
Vanessa Hall Hi Nancy! Thanks for asking. Unknown is about the son of missionaries as he returns to Moscow, Russia after his parents' deaths. There, he runs into an old friend - a ballerina at the Bolshoi - and begins facing unexpected danger as he seeks to obey God's call upon his life.
Vanessa Hall Hi! Thank you so much for the offer - I appreciate it! At this time, though, I'm only able to offer ebooks in exchange for reviews. Thanks again!
Vanessa Hall Lord willing, the second book will be released sometime early next year (February-March is what it's looking like right now.) Thanks for asking! :)
Vanessa Hall I don't have any quality recordings currently available, but that's something I might consider diving into in the future. Thanks so much for asking! :)
